ABOUT US

International Christian Leadership Training (ICLT) is an interdenominational organization which was incorporated in 1977. Its purpose is to communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to the Bible to people on every continent. In order to achieve this goal, the world-wide ministry of ICLT is mobile and diverse. It includes education, communication and logistics. The task of ICLT is being accomplished by a multinational team of professionally qualified co-workers.

OUR OBJECTIVE

The aim of ICLT is to lead men and women, young and old, to trust Jesus Christ as Saviour and serve Him as Lord. Next to introducing them to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, the focus of ICLT is to provide them with Bible-based and Christ-centered discipleship and leadership training, and to encourage them to integrate actively into a local fellowship of like-minded believers in Jesus Christ.

OUR OPERATION

Learning how to live and serve as disciples of Jesus Christ is being achieved through instruction in the revealed Word of God on a one-to-one basis, through interactive group studies, participation in seminars, internship programs, mentoring and equipping of leaders, and enrolment in Christian training centers and Bible schools. This method is designed to achieve the following objectives:

- To acquire a personal confidence in the truthfulness and reliability of the Bible as the unique Word of God.

- To obtain an overview of the contents of the books in the Bible and to be familiar with the essential doctrines of the Christian faith.

- To discover the full potential of the indwelling presence of Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit as the sole source of authority and ability for effective Christian living and service.

- To know and exemplify the spiritual principles in the Bible which are to govern Christian conduct towards believers and unbelievers in all circumstances of life.

- To be prepared to take the initiative to explain the Gospel of Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord to individuals and groups of people anywhere and at any time.

- To understand the nature, function and mission of the universal and local body of believers in Christ who is the Head of the church.

- To form a biblical world view based on the revealed fact of God as the Creator, Judge, Saviour and Sovereign of mankind.

- To be ready and willing to cooperate with like-minded believers in churches and organizations, locally and internationally, in the pursuit of the stated objective of ICLT.
